Second brew, last tasting note. TL;DR: average coffee, I am not really excited to take detailed notes for the rest of the bag.
- 15g coffee, 250g water, 92 degrees, 23 clicks comandante
- 150 grams immersion, 100 grams pour.
- Finish around 2:30 mark
Tried an immersion brew to get more body. Worked somewhat, but the brew is very 'rounded' and lacks depth.
The coffee is really fine to above-average for India. It's not up to my standards though.

First brew with the coffee.
- 15g coffee, 250 grams water at 94 degrees, 23 clicks comandante
- 50 bloom, 100-100 pour. Brew finished at 2:40 mark
Notes:
- Writing initial notes without looking at roaster's flavour profile.
- Beans seem to be light roast. For eg: the grinding needed some effort.
- The dry aroma was giving me a naturals/tropical fruit vibe, but I couldn't specifically call out what it was.
- Wet aroma: really sour, if an aroma can be sour
- Brewed coffee aroma: Difficult to identify specifics. Sour, spicy?
- Initial taste: Mostly uni-dimensional. Tropicalness, that quickly fades and a very mild, sweet aftertaste. Not the most nuanced brew.
- Doesn't have body, maybe it's today's brew method
Drinkable, and better than average. But not really worth getting excited by.
