Background

Founded in 2021 by Scott Rao (coffee industry veteran of 30+ years, author of The Coffee Roaster's Companion and Coffee Roasting: Best Practices) and Mark Benedetto (trained chef, Q-Grader, previously founded Last Stand Coffee in San Francisco).

Specialty roaster focused on clean, light roasts with strict quality control. They specialize in fruit-forward coffees from high-quality lots. No public cafe — roastery only, with local pickup by appointment. They roast weekly on Mondays and aim to add at least one new coffee every week.
