Background

Founded in March 2020 — three days before the COVID-19 lockdown — by Rahul Reddy (development economist, grew up in the US) and Daniel Trulson (Chicagoan baker, co-founder of Bread & Chocolate in Auroville). The name means "for everyone" in Hindi/Urdu.

Subko is a specialty coffee roastery, craft bakehouse, and fine cacao maker. They work in direct trade with Indian estates and smallholder farmers, curating SCA 85+ scoring coffees. Flagship in Bandra West, Mumbai, with multiple locations.
