Background

Located in Sirivase Village, Chikmagalur. Part of Kelachandra Coffee, a group of fourteen estates across Karnataka and Kerala. Kelachandra acquired the estate in 2017 and replanted with Chandragiri. The first estate in the Kelachandra group to earn Rainforest Alliance certification.

Shade is provided by native Ficus trees, some nearly 100 years old. Companion crops include pepper, turmeric, and citrus (oranges, lemons). Wildlife includes gaurs, peacocks, tigers, bears, wild boar, and elephants.
