Background

Family estate in the Bababudangiri range of the Western Ghats, cultivated by the Indavara family for over 120 years across three generations. One of the higher-altitude estates in Chikmagalur, with plots ranging up to ~5,000 feet. Also grows black pepper as a companion crop.

Periodic tiger visits recorded, along with wild boar, barking deer, and up to 100 bird species. Grades AA and A available; the estate also produces honey-processed lots. Sourced by multiple Indian specialty roasters.
