Background

Family farm in El Cedral, Santa Bárbara — one of Honduras's most consistently decorated coffee micro-regions, producing Cup of Excellence winners in 10 of the competition's 20 Honduran editions. Alma Aydee Pineda Alvarado grew up surrounded by coffee, her passion passed down from her father and husband.

Placed #2 in the 2024 Honduras Cup of Excellence with a score of 90.82. Grows SL-28, a Kenyan-origin variety known for clean citrus acidity and rich fruitiness. Processes include washed, natural, and anaerobic lots.
